Each hand and upper limb surgeon adheres to the codes and practice established by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

The ULQ hand and upper limb surgeons are at the forefront of the upper limb surgery, research and teaching. All have undertaken a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a further Subspecialty Fellowship in shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and microsurgery.

Our hand and upper limb surgeons are involved in innovative research projects, journal submissions and conference presentations focusing on areas of their surgical acumen including scapholunate instability, osteoarthritis, TFCC injuries and joint replacements. They are also involved in mentoring the next generation of surgeons through Brisbane based public consultancy positions.
